By default, all of your medical history that you have entered is kept private from other users. However, in order to help others who may want to learn from your health experiences, you may decide to make visible certain parts or all of your medical history to users accessing the website and apps operated by Healthbit (who have developed this app).
You can view your privacy settings and change these by going to the Privacy Settings page:
1. Open the sub-menu;
2. Scroll down to 'Privacy Compliance';
3. Scroll to the 'Privacy on this site section and select Privacy Settings: you can view and change your settings by clicking the padlock that appears next to each piece of content. You can then decide whether you wish to keep that content Private (only you can see this content unless you share it) or visible to Friends only (people that you have added as Friends) or visible to all Members. Currently, Friends can only be added if you are using the Healthbit site.
You can check how medical history information appears to others by visiting your Profile.
When you visit Profile, you will see information that you have entered about yourself, your medical history and any status updates you have made. This information may not represent what others see when they visit your page, depending on your privacy settings and the settings you applied when you added status updates.
In order to see the Profile page as others see it, you can use the 'View as' feature at the top of the page.
